Technical. Tactical. Timeless. In our Gi class, we train with the full kimono — using grips on the jacket and pants to control, submit, and strategize. It’s slower-paced, detail-oriented, and teaches you patience, precision, and leverage. The Gi gives you more tools… and more ways to get caught. Think of it as chess with sleeves.
Perfect if you want to build strong fundamentals, learn traditional techniques, and develop sharp grip control.
Recommended attire: Rashguards or fitted shirt and tight athletic shorts or leggings.
Other tips: You will want to ensure that you are freshly showered, long hair is pulled back, and your fingernails are clean and neatly trimmed. If you have any body piercings, you will want to remove them, and any open wounds should be covered. Remove all jewellery, including rings before your class.

Our All-Girls Jiu-Jitsu class is a welcoming space to learn and train. Designed for beginners but open to all levels, this class focuses on clear instruction, solid fundamentals, and confidence on the mats.
